The film based on the story of Air Force pilot Gunjan Saxena is ready for a Netflix release. Directed by Sharan Sharma, the film stars Janhvi in the lead role and also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Angad Bedi, Viineet Kumar, Manav Vij and Ayesha Raza.

Moreover, Gunjan Saxena is the third major film to opt for direct OTT. This is due to the closure of cinemas in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. Before, Bollywood movies like Gulabo Sitabo, Shakuntala Devi opted for direct digital release.
